Urbani Tartufi at Undercover Boss: another chance to tell our story and focus on people
It’s been a little less than a month from Urbani Tartufi’s participation to the “Undercover Boss” show on the Italian TV, and many people are still praising and complimenting us since it aired on March 11th. The TV show -hosted by the eclectic actor Max Giusti- featured Urbani Tartufi and our MD Andrea Pascolini disguised as Sandrino, a clumsy but careful and sensitive trainee, for the occasion. For those already acquainted with “Undercover Boss” this episode was probably one of the many making this format an interesting lens through which closely observe the many companies of our Country, representing the Made in Italy.
A chance to talk about Italy and its know-how through the people often hidden behind the success and quality that make our companies unique. Just like Urbani Tartufi, a constant example of Italianness in the world and a model of family business. This episode was a unique and special experience for us, capable of truly involving the people living every day in our company, working with passion, integrity and spirit of sacrifice.
All these values are a part of the philosophy and history of a business born over 170 years ago and still strongly connected to the respect of its roots and people.
The same values we found and lived with empathy and emotion in the private moments lived by the protagonists of this experience.
For instance, Vania the mum, the woman, the artist, the dreamer, but also the grateful and tireless worker. Or Andrea, a young man with a painful past that he was able to turn into love, with the dream of building his own farm and family. Like Antonella with whom we travelled the world, appreciating the fantasy and spirit of sacrifice of a discreet woman that made something big out of her existence, both inside and outside her workplace.
We also crossed feelings and borders with Manolita who arrived in Italy from Albania, always eager to learn, with a load of courage that allowed her to follow her dreams and led her to some extraordinary encounters. Another special story is Chiara’s, the mother that never gives up and dedicates every day of her life to the social wellbeing of her daughter, finding the love and support she humanly needs in her workplace too.
“Undercover Boss” was a unique chance to reach and move the audience and people involved, made even more special by the gathering of all those involved to re-live those moments together, in front of a big TV screen, in the same place where this humanity lives and works, weaving web of authentic stories, feelings, choices, values and examples to be grateful for.
